For anyone who still haven't picked it up, Deep Discount has the In the Line of Duty boxset on sale for $54.99. This is cheaper than what Diabolik and Orbit are charging and has also caused Amazon to price match with it.

Hopefully 88 or Shout! gets to upgrading Masque of the Red Death, which suddenly feels like the most appropriate 4K title ever

what an essential title. The blu ray was good for its time, but can be improved upon considerably. I hope all goes well with 88 Films' 4k.

A lame gender comedy 90% of the time, with two astonishing action scenes bookending it. Worth it for those alone.

My thoughts exactly. I watched it just a few months ago and have forgotten most everything, but I think this is the one where there’s a weird elongated confrontation with charges of lesbianism halfway through that made me do a double take

Yup, the listing on their website has the release date set as 46/34/2067. Do you think you could wait that long for it?

The titles that were announced are for October and December and they will be announcing November titles soon, alongside providing an update on the Miami Vice release.

Cover for the Blu-ray release of Miami Vice. No 4K listing has been found (yet).

Weird image compositing on that cover. The perspective looks off to me.

It’s just a digital mockup with an angled view to show the spine. But it looks like they angled the text to account for that and not the illustration. It may just be a placeholder and the actual cover may look nothing like this.

I don't think they've been successful in their attempt at bringing this one to 4K UHD. There will be an explanation soon apparently. I'm happy with regular BD myself, as long as they include both cuts and add some extras.

I see what you mean, but I'm talking about within the image, the angle of the car to the road below. That looks off. And something about the scale of the characters to the front of the car looks off as well.

thank god. I'll end up paying way less than for what Severin charges and have a better chance at a better encode

Wondering if 88 will get their hands on any of the other upcoming or rumoured Severin titles, especially such Italian ones as the 2 Soavis, and Spider Labyrinth, as well as Opera.

I'm hoping 88 makes a trend of upgrading their old Italian titles to 4K. Night Train Murders, Short Night of the Glass Dolls, and Perfume of the Lady in Black would be stellar 4K releases.

I would assume no for most of those, as Shameless Screen Entertainment has the UK rights to the two Soavi films and the UK rights to Opera are with Cult Films. Not sure who,if anyone, has Spider Labyrinth.

At least it contains both cuts - pretty huge release even without 4K
