Re: Grasshopper Film
Bisbee '17 got some glowing comments in the recent year end round up of the Cinephiliacs podcast that has made me quite interested in seeing it. It apparently has a structure involving the townsfolk in 2017 getting involved in centenary re-staging of a significant past historical event from 1917 that makes it seem quite similar to The Act of Killing.

Re: Grasshopper Film
It's an amazing interrogation of past and present that manages to resonate with more contemporary issues than we should still be dealing with. Sadly, it didn't even make the shortlist for the Oscars.colinr0380 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 25, 2019 2:01 pmBisbee '17 got some glowing comments in the recent year end round up of the Cinephiliacs podcast that has made me quite interested in seeing it.
