Absurdly priced limited edition of Popcorn coming soon-- and they relegated the unforgettable original box art to the back and replaced it with garish-looking original art

I like Synpase's dedication in the technical work they perform but their steelbooks are all vastly overpriced (but they still sell seemingly quite well, so why should they lower the prices ?).

Oh, I know, it was purely rhetorical but also a bit cynical towards my fellow BD enthusiasts who have created a market for these overpriced steelbooks.

Many years ago, my dad took me on a “birds and the bees” trip. Among other things, he asked if I wanted to watch a horror film. This film was that horror film - my first R-rated horror film (maybe my first horror film period).

So, I’m strangely attached to it, have a poster, and share a name with the monster!

It will be nice to retire my R4 DVD for a Synapse edition blu!

I’m delighted that the box artwork for Indicator’s upcoming Hammer titles makes a point of including the original X certificates, even though they mostly get PGs and 12s these days.
