It looks like there's some new offers up on the page of DVDs too, the one just called 'The Masters Of Cinema Series'.
I could not see the point of an e-mail update at first since there appeared to be nothing new on the pages. But after I refreshed that particular page, the selection of titles gained a whole new upper half, including titles I was looking for.

It seems to still be at the very bottom of the Blu-Ray page.

I ordered the Muriel DVD because for some reason I feel like the BD will be postponed and may never come out at all. I'm probably wrong but I played it safe.

Just a heads-up, I saw some people had their Antonioni BDs from Zavvi cancelled...Le amiche and La signora are apparently back in stock (mine just shipped.)

Posters do look sweet but I have nowhere to frame them and put them right now.

That Double Indemnity art sure makes for a honey of a poster. Impulsively snapped it up and will worry about wall space and framing later.

The Hut currently has La Signora Senza Camelie at 23 quid. When it was on sale a couple weeks ago they canceled my order after a day indicating they couldn't get stock. Lame. Fortunately they did follow through with La Amiche.

Sorry, I was trying to explain their business model, I didn't imply that ALL the products are priced the same all the time.

Are Sendit, Zavvi, TheHut all part of the same company? Their prices and shipping costs are different, but their layout, descriptions, FAQ section, and even the timing they started shipping to other countries a few months ago was the same.

(Probably the same for Base.com, Blahdvd, 101cd being the same company as well)

Even calculating the price, Zavvi seems the best way to go with the 99p shipping for a single order anywhere.

Sure, at the bottom of the 3 sites its written:
"© 2012 The Hut.com Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 5016010) whose registered office is at Meridian House, Gadbrook Park, Gadbrook Way, Rudheath, Northwich, Cheshire, UK, CW9 7RA."

There's been a lot of consolidations. A Japanese company bought play.com too.

There looks like being further upheaval when the Jersey/Guernsey VAT loophole is closed in about a week?

Seems to be a bit of a mix up on 'Island Of Lost Souls', if anyone from Eureka is reading. The special features for the normal version say it has 'Limited edition SteelBook Packaging' and then the Steelbook special features doesn't mention anything about packaging. Probably should be changed before someone orders the standard version and demands their Steelbook...

Also, I thought it was confirmed that the film's title would not be displayed on the steelbook cover.

I have no idea why the old packshot continues to be used, giving the wrong impression of the final product. The IoLS SteelBook will look like this:

No, but it will be the first 4D steelbook, with artificial hair jumping out the front cover :P

I haven't seen any really good deals in the Eureka offers for a while. At the moment, Pigs and Battleships and Coeur Fidele are cheaper from Amazon than from Eureka directly.

20% off all Blu-rays on HMV from now until Monday and that includes pre-orders, so get yer luvverly MoCs for under a tenner, folks. Ditto BFI and Artificial Eye Blu-rays.

You've got to use the code, though, found on the banner on the site and you can only use it once per account.
