I'm hoping to hear that Domino's poster experience was an aberration, before I place my order. Anyone else have a poster shipped?

I had the two Janus posters; they came in two posters tubes taped together securely with packaging tape. Everything came perfectly.

I emailed them about this on Thursday and have yet to hear back... I'm very disappointed in Criterion for choosing a fulfillment center that delivers this "premium" level of shipping and customer service.

I got a single tube to hold my Pierrot le Fou poster, but the tube obviously got bent somewhere and busted open a bit. Still, there wasn't much damage to the poster itself.

I ordered a "Grand Illusion" poster. It arrived Thursday. Paper quality is great, thick and sturdy. It looks phenomenal. I'm getting it professionally framed.

If I make a pre-order, does my credit card get charged at the time of the order or only when it gets a dispatchment?

Also, has anyone from Europe made any "bulky" orders yet? And if so, did you get any problems with customs?

Didn't think they delivered outside of US & Canada?

Well, I tried to make an order and there are plenty of countries to choose from. So, yes - I guess they do.

A different sort of Crit Rep finally contacted me, they're shipping me a new poster free of charge. Took a little while but I'm satisfied with how they handled their error! =D>

I really wanted to order the Pierrot le Fou poster, but now I'm a bit wary.

Although, I suppose their customer service has dealt with the problems well enough.

I got my replacement poster yesterday via 2-day express and it came in a nice, one-piece sturdy tube! I would say order with confidence.

Anyone else get a gift certificate for being an early shopper? Pretty neat.

Anyone would like to comment on the store shipping policy? Do they ship early?

Yeah, it was a very nice gesture. I think i'm going to use it on Sawdust.

I placed an order for Breathless, Days of Heaven, and Under the Volcano last week. They still haven't arrived.

I called the Customer Service Line and they said they were sold out, and should be restocked soon, and my order should be shipping out on Thursday, meaning I may get it on Monday of next week at the earliest. So, no, they do not ship early.

Boy, I hope that's just them working out the kinks, and not something that's going to be a regular practice....

I was initially very excited when they opened up the Criterion Online Store. Then I discovered that their discount was only 20% (not too good). But then I further discovered that during September they offered an additional 10%... So I then immediately started to figure out what the total discount would be if I combined all that with a further $50 dollars off with their over-500-purchase coupon... and pretty soon it became very competitive with DVDPlanet. The trick was to order as close to $500 without going too high over. This took me a while, but I finally managed to get my order in at $503.

But as of right now I have yet to receive the promised $50 Coupon. Is anyone else in this situation? Or have people already received their first coupons?

Also, when I first placed my LARGE $503 order I was promised that I would still be able to have a Take10 percent off on whatever I bought with the $50 once it came (since it all was intended to take place in september). If they don't honor this (since this is now november) my penny-saving calculations will be off and my inner cheapskate will will feel cheated!

It seems that the store doesn't send to other countries...
Does somebody have an idea of how I can get the poster of "Pierrot le Fou"? Thanks...

Have they also stopped their weekly deal offering 25% off? I was hoping something nice might show up in the rotation so I could use that $10 coupon.

Woah I just noticed this. I may have already thrown the box away... Where was this certificate? I placed my order the first week the store went up.

It wasn't a tangible item, but a code for $10 off that they would have sent you separately in an e-mail.
