It's too bad this thread will likely be deleted. Sometimes it's funny to see how quickly threads can devolve into stupidity.
Because this one started out so intellectually stimulating?

Hey I work by myself. Any kind of conversation is intellectually stimulating.
The only other forum I'm on is the one for an online class at school. It's for Children's Literature.
I got into a debate with a woman over Alice in Wonderland this morning. She said the book was inappropriate for children because the Caterpillar smokes a hookah.
I'm also trying to rack up inane posts on this forum since I may be front runner for the Richard Cranium award this year.

I suspec' that Eck had a peck-- he was not cleanly cut off at the waist.. he actually had enfeebled, tiny little legs (visible here:

Take a guy like Prince Randian-- guy had a bunch of kids! Randian with Johnny Eck:

Those pics are creepy. Was it from Freaks?

The bottom one, more than likely. But who knows? These guys were bumping into each other in carny's from time to time, one would imagine. Randian's outfit is the same as in Freaks.

Would be a much better release than Fishing With John

Domino, I would be surprised if you've actually watched that disc. So let's be fair.
If you actually HAVE watched it, then congrats and apologies.

I saw like two of the episodes at someone's house once. I left before a third could begin to catch my bus out of the eighth circle of Hell

Any specific guesses for the almighty spine #700?
Man with No Name trilogy is my best bet

Considering that centennial spine numbers mean absolutely nothing... Why bother?

Clearly they're saving Y Tu Mama Tambien for spine #1000.

As long as they're releasing 60s madcap comedies already on blu, why not Casino Royale?

Not that it means anything, but Life Aquatic is 300, so maybe Fantastic Mr Fox because no reason?

Are you one of those who will really enjoy Fantastic Mr. Fox as #700?
I am not really crazy about spine number! I just had one issue in my whole Criterion history. I was very upset with #666 choice. It took me few months to get over it. That's being said, if La Dolce Vita is coming from Criterion, I don't want to wait too long for that :)

Spine #666 is one of the few memorable and really clever ones, actually.

That one and 100 is Beastie Boys and 400 was one of the Jarmusch movies. That's all I remember or care to remember

Unfortunately, #666 is the only one I remember. What started this #700 topic?
The last one right now is #694. I don't think they can hit 700 in Feb except there is a 3-4 films box set.

Really? I can't think of a better fit for 666. What were you hoping for?

Ken Russell's The Devils would've been a great choice. I doubt they have the rights to it though.
