Yes, I already knew about those but those are serious cash-ins and thus I proceeded to ignore them. The koreans were the first to have that Big Fish SE and who cares about the new Edward box anyway?dx23 wrote: As for the Tim Burton DVDs, there are a couple of re-releases of Big Fish and Edward Scissorhands.

If you're thinking of buying the R1 Corpse Bride, think again: the R3 Hong Kong is apparently coming with an audio-commentary according to dvdactive.com. And our friends down under in R4 Australia are getting the 2xDVD treatment, though I don't know how their specs are like yet.
So, what went wrong with R1 this time then? One thing is for sure - I will be buying mine elsewhere.

Well, apparently the spanish 2xDVD edition will have the same extras as the R1 1xDVD edition - only spread across the 2 discs.
However, in the UK things are different:

For some reason (probably wretched, wretched convenience), I picked up the R1 Corpse Bride at WalMart tonight. It included what was purported to be a "WalMart Exclusive":
I did have to dig through 8 racks of full-screen editions to find it, but it was a pleasant surprise. I never advertise for WalMart, so let me conclude by suggesting that you steal it from there. What are they going to do? Cut their workers benefits? The Illustrated Story - The Story Told In The Movie (88 psges): This Section Will Be A New Layout For The SCS Collector's Edition Based On Part Three: The Illustrated Story Of The Previously Released Coffee Table Book By Newmarket Press

Actually, it has been OOP for quite a while now. I have sold on Amazon.com around 50 copies that I found at several stores. This DVD will probably be re-released after the limited theatrical 3-d run ends.Lino wrote:The Nightmare Before Christmas is now OOP.
