They seriously couldn't have tried a little harder? This is just plain lazy.

Sorry for the bad quality image.

The only reason anybody would want to watch those movies is for the giant translucent ampersand, so I think it works.

They could have just pulled “stunningly elegant”, but no, let’s keep going with the “You don’t need to know the original” so randos eyeing this in Best Buy won’t think it’s a movie that’s only for nerds or something. Baffling. “Please. Please buy this. We need your money. We don’t care if you even know what Blade Runner is! Buy this! Please!”
My feelings exactly.

But I have to say, I'm fine with the actual front cover. It's a nice reduction of the theatrical poster which I'm not too crazy about.

Oh Jesus! What happened to Harrison Ford?! That deserves a Mr. Plinkett “What’s wrong with your faaaaaaaaaace?”

They made him look puffy, splotchy and diseased. He didn’t look that bad in the movie.

They spent most of the CG budget on him in the movie. They ran out of CG money for the BD cover.

This film's decision to market itself like it's a straight-to-video knockoff is probably one of the most perplexing in recent memory

People unfamiliar with Professor Marston's story are going to be in for a wild ride if they pick this up based on hype from Wonder Woman's solo venture this year.

The film's decision not to make Rebecca Hall the person who plays Wonder Woman is more perplexing

ha, I didn't think of that when I saw it but you have a point. It didn't reinvent the wheel, but the film was a lot better than I thought it would be.

The background image alone would be perfectly fine, but they had to go and add those bizarre, terrible cut-outs on the bottom. The more I look at it, the worse it becomes.

Well if it pleased the notoriously impossible-to-impress People magazine, it must be something special.

I too remember when my boy HAL was installed in the white room that takes up much of the films running time. And thank GOD they decided to acknowledge underrated film critic Dave Bowman.

You know what bothers me the most about that? The exclamation point. Especially in all caps.
