Re: Cosmos
...and for those who'd like a sneak preview of Samm's writing on Żuławski, here's a massive multi-part retrospective feature that she wrote for Diabolique earlier this year. Offering her the run of the Arrow booklet wasn't exactly a tricky decision.

Re: Cosmos
Her review of the recent Female Prisoner 701 box was quite good. Glad to know she's a fan of Zulawski! Will the booklet be first pressing only?

I assume so, as I think that's standard practice now.

Re: Cosmos
Can anyone comment on the Zulawski coffret from Malavida? I gather it has French subtitles which isn't a huge problem but how do the films look?

Re: Cosmos
Oh, dear, did I love this. I was a bit surprised, despite having read previously how prevalent the humor is, how much it cracked me up, while also giving off beautiful autumnal melancholy. Lovely photography (especially the lighting in the final third), gorgeously committed performers (Genet has a sort of Pierre Clementi thing going on), and music that sent me into a stumbling drunken state. Speaking of: is there any indication of a soundtrack release?
