HEADS UP! 4xblu has received a pair of Indicator first pressing dual format editions of Brian De Palma's "Body Double." On August 26th Indicator announced that this pressing is out of print, and will be supplanted by a Blu-ray only release without the booklet (which they announced today will be out on October 2nd). By the time you read this, one copy of "Body Double" will be on sale in the online store and the other will be on the shelves at the brick and mortar location. There will be no holds for either; strictly first come, first served.

UPDATE: The online copy has sold. Still available in-store, though.

Today's lone arrival, a restock of Joe Dante's "The 'Burbs." The copies that came in are the bonus feature-laden special edition, not the scaled down version that shares the same cover (most e-tailers use the illustrated alternate cover to avoid confusion).

If you mean the Indicator edition, it's region free.

Nope. The one I put online sold in about 15 minutes and the one I put out on the shelves sold first thing the following day.

Oops, just noticed that I didn't post last night's online store additions (I got an in-store customer just as I was posting them). Here they are, all of which are still available as of this writing:

MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT - 4xblu now has a YouTube channel! You can check out the first video here.
Image

One of shop's regulars (who happens to be a filmmaker) thought it'd be a good idea to create a YouTube channel for the store. He's come by a few times to film and already posted the first video, with more to follow about once a week. If you'd like to keep up with the ongoing adventures of 4xblu, please like and subscribe to the channel and help get the word out by sharing. Thanks!

A great set-- though I imagine that thé might be a bit stale by now!
