The back of the German DVD for Absolution has that image, although it's flipped.

Re: Indications of Incoming Indicator Entertainments
Absolution (1978) is a reminder of my childhood. Not, I hasten to add, because of the reported plot, but because of the excitement I felt when Richard Burton was filming it in Ellesmere, a few miles north of my then home. In what seemed like the same week, or at least the same month, Robert Powell was shooting The Thirty Nine Steps (1978) on the Severn Valley Railway, at the other end of Shropshire. Briefly, it seemed that our rural county was the hub of British film production.
I notice that the DP on both films was John Coquillon, so I wonder if he had a scheduling conflict.
While the Powell has been shown many times on British TV since the early 1980s, I never thought it would be 40 years before I saw Absolution (not having noticed the DVD). It will be a mild kind of closure.

How is Absolution? Worth discovering? Any critics making claims for the qualities of this film? Does sound interesting.
Good that forgotten films can be brough back and given new life on blu ray. Remaster or restoration? How are the film materials?

It's probably not, but I'm thinking of Hal Ashby's "Coming Home".

They also retweeted about Ophuls' The Reckless Moment a while back, so that's also forthcoming (but another Columbia title, so less of a surprise).mistakaninja wrote: ↑Fri Aug 03, 2018 9:57 amThey replied to someone on Twitter saying they weren't just randomly retweeting.
Could well be Coming Home then. Fingers crossed...

Is the clue a still from Diary of a Mad Housewife? There's quite a few in-bed sequences in that film.

I'd kill for that and Play It As It Lays, which was supposed to come from Carlotta years ago.

Five years ago I would have balked at the notion, but, hooray for more esoteric middle brow British films!

Re: Indications of Incoming Indicator Entertainments
13 Ghosts was already announced as part of the Castle set, this is probably just to indicate that ghost viewers will be included

Re: Indications of Incoming Indicator Entertainments
As far as I'm aware, there are still no plans to put out any foreign-language titles under the Indicator brand, and they abandoned DVD a year ago (and never released anything exclusively on DVD). Zabriskie Point is the only plausible Antonioni title aside from the already-released The Passenger, and that's with Warner Bros and so inaccessible for now.
So you'd be better off lobbying Eureka, Arrow or the BFI.

Re: Indications of Incoming Indicator Entertainments
Is there any say as to whether Marie Antoinette is a title that Indicator would consider?
