'77 (Patrick Read Johnson, 2007)

This has had early trailers and release dates come and go a few times, but I'm really looking forward to it. The cast looks solid, it looks like the perfect film about being a teenage film geek.

I read an interview with Gary Kurtz back in November and he did mention he is still producing the film.

Here's hoping it gets into theaters this year.

Isn't it sad that even without clicking on any of the links or even having heard of this before I know exactly what this film is about. :(

Not at all. I even threw a party at my house on 5-25-07. This date means a lot to me.

Starlog catches up with PRJ about the film. It now has a new title, and has gone under further editing, VFX and soundtrack work. It's finally being repped and will head to the American Film Market in November to try and get a domestic deal made.
