The scuttlebutt on Criterion, Eclipse, and Janus Films. Lists and polls are STRONGLY discouraged.

One might get the impression from the BFI and CC covers that there are a lot more bare nipples in The Comfort of Strangers than there actually are. I almost wonder if the contract for promotional art stipulated something like "each of the four leads' names in the same font and size, and my name within inches of nipples"

Dance, Girl, Dance
The gold on the front cover is a metallic ink.

Yeah, it's pretty cool looking in person. I'm keeping mine next to my Flicker Alley Early Women Filmmakers set, which now finally feels complete

Looks like waiting-room literature at a psychiatrist's office.

The spine looks die cut or embossed... what do you wanna bet it's book/linen-bound like the Princess Bride?

That was my first thought, but what a silly idea. At least in The Princess Bride it makes sense, but this one gets a thematic-book packaging because "story" is in the title? Did they even see the movie?

Maybe they are doing it like a family photo album?

Let’s hope they have so much fun releasing a Baumbach film in book packaging that they remember to license and release the one literally named like a book

Literally the only other Baumbach film released by Netflix.

Oh crap I forgot about that one. Also didn't realize Domino specifically meant a Baumbach title. Well I'm done for the day.
