You could write on the dichotomy of Urkel and Stefan.Jean-Luc Garbo wrote:I can finally write that Steve Urkel dissertation now.

Re: TV on DVD
I'd prefer to do that, but I think an obvious paper on race and society at the time would go over better. Besides, I think Stefan shows up in season five and not season one. Hmmm, this show could be a real goldmine for research. Does anyone have Armond's cell number?Murdoch wrote:You could write on the dichotomy of Urkel and Stefan.Jean-Luc Garbo wrote:I can finally write that Steve Urkel dissertation now.

Family Matters is actually pretty funny and holds up better than any other sitcom of a similar ilk from the era

Re: TV on DVD
When I was a kid, I only watched it for Urkel. He was the other person worth a damn, and when they introduced the machine to make him normal, I had to stop watching it. All of the other TGIF programs were terrible.
I eventually moved onto "Married with Children", which is still probably my favorite sitcom of the nineties. You have to be cold-hearted not to find this funny.
