It is the Zoomiest of Zoom calls, too: Seven senior citizens who seem generally unfamiliar with the technology (a couple of whom show up late), freezes, dropouts, ringing phones, audio delays, visually cluttered backgrounds, Jim Brooks wandering around his house while on camera. Amazingly, it manages to be watchable, informative, and intermittently entertaining, even if it makes me feel like I’m in a staff meeting at work.
