Severin is releasing Traitement de choc-- isn't this StudioCanal?
Never heard of it before. Is this worth checking out?
I didn’t recall liking it all that much but then a board search reveals 2008 me thought otherwise

Have you seen Flic Story or Shock Treatment though, they're really good.
I remember nothing about it other than that it’s set on an island/shoreline. May have to pick it up to see if I was right

Cheers. The upcoming Mademoiselle from BFI is a must, maybe this too. Like a double bill.

Been a while since I saw something French so couple days ago started with Jenny (1936) which is Marcel Carné’s debut full-length film and have to admit not liking it, simply uninteresting. Apparently was controversial in the 30s.

I've seen Traitement de choc and found it not spectacular at all. Perhaps its most notable aspect (if this is your inclination) is that Alain Delon goes fully nude.

So does Annie Girardot. I watched this in mid 1980s and remember nothing, but that nude beach scene. So, agree with Feego's post...
