If you like this "social media" stuff, they are on facebook now, too: http://www.facebook.com/CameraObscuraFilmdistribution" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
(And although at the moment the posts are in German a switch to English will be no problem for them, I think...)

Last Friday they announced their next release. Mondo Candido (1975).

(btw, despite my user name, I'm not affiliated with Camera Obscura, although very impressed by the quality of their releases. Their laugh-out-loud slice of kungfu nonsense Karate, Küsse, blonde Katzen looked absolutely spectacular).

Interest here for this label seems to have dried up just a few months before they released their first Blu-ray. All of their transfers are apparently very impressive, come from new scans and are extensively restored in house. They're basically Germany's answer to Synapse and Arrow. So far they have released (click for Mondo Digital review):

The Killer Reserved Nine Seats (L'assassino ha riservato nove poltrone) ~ Giuseppe Bennati
Like Rabid Dogs (Come cani arrabbiati) ~ Mario Imperoli
Spirits of Death (Un Bianco Vestito per Mariale) ~ Romano Scavolini
San Babila-8 P.M. (San Babila ore 20: un delitto inutile) ~ Carlo Lizzani

And coming very shortly, Aldo Lado's Short Night of Glass Dolls AKA Malastrana (La Corta notte delle bambole di vetro).

Despite all of these being limited to a scarily low 1000 copies, they still appear to be available, though retail price is very high and they can only be picked up for around £25-£35 each. DiabolikDVD seem best for US customers, whilst http://shop.dtm.at/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; are cheapest for UK and EU customers (Amazon UK Marketplace sellers are almost as good for UK buyers also)

Anyway, they will release Deadly Games (3615 code Père Noël, 1989) on Christmas 2017.

My conclusion of your and soundchaser’s opinion: the former is the one to go :wink:. Have completely forgotten about Camera Obscura, have they put out anything cool recently?
Good choice :)
Seems the whole forum has. After a couple of other giallo's (Amuck & The Bloodstained Butterfly), they took a break from Italy for a bit, having done really nice editions of films like River's Edge & the French horror film Night of Death. But earlier this year, they released Stelvio Massi's Poliziotto Sprint - I can't comment as my copy's living at Diabolik DVD until they start shipping internationally again...

Cheers.

I remember seeing Vase de Noces and Orozco the Embalmer from the company’s output, probably no desire to revisit these anymore. Spirits of Death sounds great but probably OOP.

Regarding Scavolini, isn’t Massacre Video releasing Nightmare in a Damaged Brain paired with Dog Tags?

FB:
"The time has finally come! After YEARS of trying to get the rights to this masterpiece, we can finally announce our "hottest" title to date! It's an absolute personal all-time favorite and the ultimate fun time at the movies. This year we will release GWENDOLINE on DVD, Blu-ray and UHD! No film has ever combined eroticism, adventure, martial arts and humor more perfectly than Just Jaeckin's loose adaptation of John Willie's cult comic classic, in which the EMMANUELLE director sexed up the back then highly popular Indiana Jones tropes with S/M phantasies. We're loving it! We are very sorry to say, however, that GWENDOLINE will only be available in German and French language options."
