Can anyone recommend any of his short films? I think they're all playing at Lincoln Center but programmed in groups:

Shorts Program 2: Haunted Ashes
Apichatpong Weerasethakul 101 minutes
This program includes Trailer for CinDi (2011), Ashes (2012), Vampire (2008), and Haunted Houses (2001).
Shorts Program 3: Luminous Empire
Apichatpong Weerasethakul 99 minutes
This program includes thirdworld(1997), Empire (2010), My Mother's Garden (2007), Ghost of Asia (2005), Monsoon (2011), Luminous People (2007), Nimit (2007), Blue (2018), and A Letter to Uncle Boonmee (2009).

Re: Apichatpong Weerasethakul
Of the ones I've seen, Blue and the Boonmee short in program 3 I liked the most (and the latter I regard to be one of his better works, short or feature-length). Did not much care for Vampire or Worldly Desires (the latter is quite long, too).
I saw another short I quite liked at an Apichatpong installation at Tate Modern in 2016. Google suggests it might be Vapour, but I'm not entirely certain.

Re: Apichatpong Weerasethakul
Allow me to offer a contrasting review of Worldly Desires. Now I haven’t seen this digital camera filmed short in well over ten years so a lot of my memory of it is hazy, but I will never forget the dancing girl group that pop up repeatedly throughout the film in different parts of a spotlit jungle miming to a ridiculously catchy and cheesy Nadia pop song Will I Be Lucky?
Is it the greatest film of all time? No. But is it the second greatest film of all time, probably.
