What are the chances of Universal releasing individuals discs from that first Durbin Kino box? (Only interested in Three Smart Girls Grow Up.)

Pre-orders have appeared from a Norweigan retailer for UHD releases of the original Dracula, Invisible Man, Frankenstein, and Wolfman movies this fall, presumably to be released by Universal in all their relevant territories. Pretty cool! Was just thinking about Kino's UHD licenses how Frankenstein would be something they would pursue but I'm glad the studio is willing to keep some stuff like that for themselves.

Worth noting that the Spanish version of Dracula (1931) is reportedly also 4K HDR on the new UHD release

Beaver on 4k Frankenstein

Added that (plus Casino Royale and the 4k Deep Red) to the SOLID UPGRADE from the most recent BluRay list in the UHD upgrades worth/not worth it thread.

They are also doing their own releases of titles released by Kino

100 Men and a Girl (1937)
It Started with Eve (1941)
Three Smart Girls Grow Up (1939)
Thunder on the Hill (1951)

The three Durbin films were a box set that didn't sell well for Kino, which led to them trading back the other Durbin films they had licensed, which were then released in this individual style by Universal. Guess these were titles that were better sold individually.

Thunder on the Hill is in Kino's Film Noir: Dark Side of Cinema II set.

Thunder on the Hill is far from Sirk's best, but it's an interesting faith-based noir with a rare devout nun protagonist.

Holiday Inn (1942)
Monty Python's The Meaning of Life (1983) - 9/13/22
Puss in Boots (2011) - 11/22/22

Santa Claus Is Comin' to Town! (1970)
Shrek 2 (2004) - 11/22/22
To Kill a Mockingbird (1962) - 10/11/22
Universal Classic Monsters: Icons of Horror Collection Vol. 2 (1932-1954) (Includes The Mummy (1932), The Bride of Frankenstein (1935), The Phantom of the Opera (1943), The Creature from the Black Lagoon[/b] (1954)) - 10/11/22

The three animated TV Christmas films will also be available in a set.

Last year's Classic Monsters Vol.1 titles - Dracula (1931) (which includes Drácula (1931)), Frankenstein (1931), The Invisible Man (1933) and The Wolf Man (1941) - will be getting individual releases on 10/11/22
