He’s also in Matinee itself playing the teacher droning on about food groups before the bomb drill begins

Interesting, Blue Underground said that they could not get the rights holder to do a new scan. Was that found in a UK or US set?

The user didn't say but I would think that they found it in a U.S set since they are from the U.S and posted it in the U.S Arrow thread.

Hopefully Arrow also manage to include Bava's La Venere d'Ille as an extra

Seconded. Although I would be happy with just Shock. Was very excited to see this.

Would love a 4k of Shock if it’s possible.

I'm wondering though where are Inglourious Basterds and The Wolf of Wall Street at now.
Turns out that Paramount will be releasing Wolf of Wall Street on 4K in December in the U.S. I'm going to assume that the upcoming Arrow release will be U.K. only, that is if they still have the rights to it.
The Tarantino is also coming out this week from Universal. It doesn't look like any UK releases have been scheduled yet. Perhaps these studios insisted on some kind of exclusivity window for their U.S. releases, and we should expect the Arrow ones sometime next year?

BR.com has the Inglorious Basterds 4K listed as being released in the U.K by Universal next week. Zavvi also had a bunch of Limited Editions available for sale, though it seems they have quickly sold out. Fran Simeoni was asked on Twitter about the Tarantino and 'Wolf' and responded by saying that the releases for those 2 were "complicated".

Arrow has the UK rights to the Coffin Joe movies.
One Eyed has also signed a UK distribution deal for restored versions of the Coffin Joe film catalogue with Arrow Films, with a release date to be confirmed.
When Don May was on the Deadpit livestream a few weeks back he mentioned he was approached by an unnamed company about sub-licensing the films from him for a US Blu-ray set and he agreed but they never got back to him. I am assuming that Arrow was the company.

I am curious what elements were available for the "restored versions" as the elements disintegrated when they scanned them to make the SD masters.

On Facebook, Ian Christie posted a photo from a 1994 interview he did with Claude Chabrol, mentioning it would be included in an upcoming box set coming from Arrow.

Since there are 2 CC boxes on the list of hints, I think it's safe to say that we will be seeing 2 Chabrol boxsets. I wonder if it will just be an upgrade of the Arrow DVD sets.

I have an ominous feeling that we are not going to see the ones that the majority are yearning for. I would love to be proved wrong but I see no indication that other than a botched Le Boucher the" 60's hits" are still in a wrangle. At present my ear is no longer to la terre francaise so maybe Tenia may be able to wade in with better news.

I would wager that the Carlotta 90's stuff would constitute BOX 1 and maybe for Box 2 an anglicisation and upgrade of the DVD Raretés box which contains 5 films:
A double tour, Les bonnes femmes, L'œil du malin, Landru, La ligne de démarcation. Some of which have made an entrance in blu separately.

The first two titles would surely bring a glow to a few faces on this forum.

There’s a great restoration by Shout Factory out there, so this will be a good opportunity for UK buyers. Glad to see neglected Hooper movies getting an opportunity. Would love to get in 4k although I suppose it’s not likely.

Also would love to see I’m Dangerous Tonight (also benefiting a Shout Factory restoration soon), the missing Toolbox Murders, and Spontaneous Combustion, whose intense Brad Dourif performance and accomplished approach to artifice really gives it some distinction.

It is not Warner Brothers
We've licensed two titles from Warner in UK/US before. This is a new licensor for us in US.

Paramount?

They are apparently releasing the documentary Wolfman's Got Nards next year. There's some speculation it will be alongside Monster Squad.
