The fourth Hammer set is now gone, somewhat frustratingly after just an initial tweet this morning with no usual countdown of "20 copies left" as they have done for most other titles (totally possibly they went from like 50 remaining to 0 in just an hour, though).

To be fair, that particular set has been trailed for weeks as an unusually fast seller that was likely to go OOP much quicker than the three earlier Hammer boxes.

In fact, I explicitly said in this very thread a full two and a half months ago that:
Hammer vol 4: Faces of Fear is down to the last 122 copies, and is the fastest-selling Indicator box by some distance.
Anyway, it's only just gone OOP, so there'll doubtless be a few copies left with other retailers.

I will kick myself for not ordering it alongside vol. 3 when that was about to go OOP till my dying day

Indicator has already confirmed that there'll be individual releases, which was always a racing certainty.

As ever with standard editions, they'll be missing the booklets and I believe the plan is to drop the second disc of The Damned (which only contains the shorter British theatrical cut; everything else is on disc one), but they'll be the same discs as were in the box set, extras and all.

Going by their Sale FAQ, there will be OOP Returns going on sale in the flash sale that starts today (assumed to be at 12 noon)

Very cool - I had mostly little interest in the sale as I have been up-to-date on new Indicator releases in the past year but gladly picked up Laura Mars, Ministry of Fear, Torture Garden, and Bunny Lake, all of which I regretted missing out on.

No Night Tide, sadly. And adding one of the OOP items to your cart does not reserve it for you, so you do get punished if you keep shopping after grabbing one.

The wording on the OOP returns makes it sound like they will be adding a limited amount of stock each day of the sale at 2 pm (UK time). My suggestion is to have a cart ready with everything you want and adding those titles then (if I'm right) so you can checkout quickly. At least that's what I did today and I got everything I wanted (which worked out because I forgot VAT was deducted at checkout and I didn't have enough for free shipping).

Thanks, I'll check back. And do the hokey-pokey with the international shipping charges to figure out cut-off points beforehand.

Just from my order I can give you the following changes after VAT:

£9.99 becomes £8.33
£15.99 becomes £13.33
£18.99 becomes £15.83
£27.99 becomes £23.33

This may well change dramatically over the next few days, but the low stock warning as of just before the sale is currently:

Bellman & True
Berserk
The Border
A Dandy in Aspic
Charlie Bubbles
The 5,000 Fingers of Dr T
Footsteps in the Fog
Fragment of Fear
The Front
Gardens of Stone
Little Murders
Modern Romance
The Reckoning
The Third Secret
The Triple Echo

and Bloody Terror: The Shocking Cinema of Norman J Warren

I remember Sweet Charity being on the low stock list during the last newsletter. I wonder why it wasn't on this list (although it's not actually on sale like those others)

I think it may have been a situation like Endless Night ran into last Sale where there was a warehousing issue that led to them mistakenly labelling it OOP despite still having plenty of stock coming.

Oh well. It's still a title I wanted and it helped me get over the 200 threshold

Blimey - I bought Spring Night, Summer Night an hour ago, and it’s already on its way.

More likely it's your shipping label that's on the way out of the printer.

Trying to order those OOP titles was like cracking an egg into an open hand.

They're surely just needing restocked? It would be quite some feat to go OOP on the first day of the sale before any of the titles on the low stock list

If it was just a restocking issue, wouldn't they just say so? They're also showing as sold out on the Limited Editions page.

The Limited Editions Out of Print page link currently shows an 404 page does not exist error. I reckon they're updating this list now.

They might later in the day, but titles have definitely showed up as 'out of stock' during a sale and then reappeared the next day. Birdy comes to mind. And Endless Night.

I would assume something isn't OOP unless Indicator specifically says so through one of their social media channels.

Please bear in mind that Powerhouse is a very small company and they're not equipped to handle social media channels 24/7 - right now, it's only just gone 8am. If they really have sold out, I'm sure there'll be an official update today.

(And I'm completely out of all relevant loops here, so I don't know any more than you do.)
