All this casting talk has buried the lede - that's the wonderful and ever weight-fluctuating Denis Ménochet over Benecio Del Toro's shoulder!

Nah, Schwartzman's in it [allegedly] in a small role as a character named Hermes Jones, unless jwo17 puts us in our place

I assumed he meant since he wasn’t in the stills he can’t change it yet. We’re getting a trailer sometime this week, so I bet swo gets his chance soon

Who is the actor in glasses sitting next to Fisher Stevens on the couch?

Wow, thanks for that ID, I never would have gotten that. It’s been so long since I’ve seen him in anything (maybe like ~15 years ago on Law and Order: Criminal Intent?)

He's been in a bunch of littler supporting film roles in recent years, usually playing doctors, etc. Had a small part in Teen Choice Awards nominee Ocean's 8

IMDB tells me he's Sandra Bullock's parole officer at the start

Is the film in the academy ratio? I didn't know that.

Looks so beautiful overall!

Also Seydoux as a policewoman is such awsome casting.

Those are production stills and not indicative of the film's aspect ratio.

Trailer releases tomorrow.

Awards scholars: When's the last time (if indeed that's what this is) that an anthology film got a ton of Oscar attention or won Best Pic?

Swo, looks great!

Absolutely incredible. Couldn't be more excited for this, and the narrative style is still very much a mystery with the characters existing in both color and b&w scenes

Off the top of my head the '60s had the last major cluster of them with stuff like California Suite.
