It does give Ekberg a sort of “Bride of Trumpenstein” sort of look, I’ll grant.

I hate the Juliet of the Spirits artwork and those blue teeth, man. The 8½ artwork I like better than the cover for the standalone release though.

None of these are working for me, except for the main cover.
I'll just leave this here.

I mean these covers are just website only right? I forget if they actually are printed in the books but I don’t think so?

Yeah, they are just for the site. The art is taken from the collage that is the cover of the book that houses the discs

Fellini box, per reddit, is going to be 12.5" x 11.6" x 1."

So a little longer or taller than an LP on one side and a little shorter on the other

I thought they were going to use that one-sheet for The Irishman, but this cover is great, too! But what the hell did they do to Ghost Dog?

I mean, based on these covers, they should take all the time they need to not deliver something of the same ilk

I saw THE IRISHMAN but I’m not quite sure I understand the significance of the image. Either I’m losing it, or it’s a bit too obscure to be an effective cover. Or I suppose both could be true.
At any rate, I don’t feel the style is evocative of the film at all.

The ring had cultural significance to the mobsters. Pesci has a big spiel about them in the film. But I don't actually disagree with you here. I cannot fathom why any number of other things might have been used for the cover.Brian C wrote: ↑Tue Aug 18, 2020 5:09 pmI saw THE IRISHMAN but I’m not quite sure I understand the significance of the image. The rings and the age of the hands... I get it. It's not the greatest cover I've ever seen but it works for me.

Do we expect The Irishman to be a digipak like Roma and Marriage Story?

at the banquet honoring sheeran where russell gives him the ring that only three exist in the world? seems to have a lot of significance to the film.
