That's not terribly reassuring, as they only released one Beineix (I know Diva was available on LD)...and Audiard is kind of still in the Academy Awards public sphere. Not sure if Denis Lavant is known by anyone but the anointed, but Binoche is still a marketable name. It would really make a nice triptych anyways.

I think these films all have more of a common theme than Beineix's work, and KL had Diva

So is Pola X not part of these restorations? It's not playing alongside them. That would be a shame.

There is a Roy Andersson series happening at BAMPFA and it shows that Janus is listed as the licensor for Roy Andersson's A Swedish Love Story and You, the Living.

So is Songs from the Second Floor, or is it known as a Janus release already?

Days and Nights in the Forest
Cronos
Cairo Station

Obviously Criterion just released Cairo Station abd upgraded Cronos, but I thought these pages were worth including.

Days and Nights in the Forest seems long overdue for a Criterion release.

Wes Anderson just helped organize a restoration of it that aired at Cannes this year, so it's coming for sure.

that has definitely just been updated, I have a screenshot of the page on the day this slate was revealed, and the distributor wasn't listed. interesting! this will be Janus/Criterion's first foray into the world of Masumura

I can see Spider's Eyes being released alongside Serpent's Path when it gets released on Blu. La Grande Bouffe is a surprise though, since the Arrow release still appears to be in-print.

I don't see Le grande bouffe on MVD's site. I assume Arrow's release is OOP but copies are still available at various etailers.

Looks like Janus has picked up the rights to Patrick Tam's Nomad

Here's hoping that a future Criterion release can add the original cut.
