This’ll also be the first time a Chucky film isn’t written and directed by Don Mancini.

Don Mancini wrote all of the films, but didn't start directing them until Seed Of Chucky in 2004. The first four films were directed by Todd Holland, Jon Lafia, Jack Bender, & Ronny Yu.

Oh yeah, that's right. I should've said it's the first one he's not involved with.

Which he is really mad about especially as he was/is working on a different project.

I know it made gazillion dollars and countless costumes but do we really need another one? File next to Toy Story 4 in the unnecessary animated sequel (to decent/great movies)
