Looks like Wages Of Fear is the first non-cardboarded blu-ray. Transparent case similar to Criterion's DVD plastic cases.

Pics? Is it the new Blu-Ray shape, or the same as the old Alpha DVD case shape?

Pix in the middle of
this page. Looks to be blu-ray case sized.
Edit:
In The Realm Of The Senses blu-ray is being packaged similarly

Sorry guys, I'm new here and hadn't even seen this topic yet. I posted it to another topic (In the Realm of the Senses) but it was moved here. Hope you'll understand.

I wish there was a list of the films on the back, but.

The back would've been fine if they hadn't decided to put a huge ugly white box around the movie description. Awful.

Now that you mentioned it Antoine, it does look like some kind of letter you would receive from the IRS after you got caught cheating on your taxes.

I only resent the reduction of Yo La Tengo to merely a "rock band." Would it have killed them to add the modifier "kickass"?

Slow (bad) news day if we're reduced to critiquing the presentation of the back-cover blurb. (Stand by for outraged "but I have built a special display case that displays my complete Criterion collection with the back cover blurbs facing out!" post).
I'm shocked and delighted that the Disc 3 documentary is three hours long (but everybody else probably knew that already).

From now on Criterion should just have blank covers with the title in a uniform font. Kind of similar to all the food products in Repo Man.

Frankly, I think everything should be packaged per Repo Man.

Horrors, they made it possible to actually read the text. Rotten bastards should've left the box out so the letters could vanish into the identically-colored background. What were you fuckwits thinking? That we want to be able to read the box and know what we're buying? BULLSHIT.

While I actually like it (and it was probably done for economical reasons to keep the price down) I'm sure you guys are going to bitch and moan about it:
Packaging for Science is Fiction
I'll have photos for the other April releases up when I get a chance.

You mean I have to expend calories to access the third disc?! What the fuck barbeque! Ooh, actually, barbeque sounds good . . .
The set looks ok, but not ideal. I'm pretty interested in this one.

You probably thought it would be a digipak because of
this.
