Thanks guys, I do have an Insignia, so that's probably it-- I guess I'll try playing it on my old out of commission Sherwood

Yeah, Bell Book And Candle wouldn't play on one of my parents' Insignia players when I tried to show the film to them. The have 2 different models. It would play on their older model, but not the newer one.

I, too, had a problem with a Twilight Time disc on my Insignia WBRDVD2. It wouldn't even read my Big Heat blu, but I just chalked it up to the firmware being outdated, on account of the region free hack I learned from domino. Fortunately, I hung onto my old player, on which the disc played without a problem, so I didn't think much of it until now.

This is the same problem I encountered. No cursor appears on the main menu.

I'm sorry, I actually remembered incorrectly the exact problem the disc was giving me. My player reacts in the same way domino described. The LED screen on the player just reads "WAITING" and I get a "prohibited" message on the TV whenever I push play on the remote.

When are we usually able to pre-order their titles? Is it a month or so before the release date?

Yes, that is what I have seen based on my purchase history from them.
An announcement on Twilight Time DVD Facebook page indicates that pre-orders for Cover Girl and Those Magnificent Men will start June 15th at 4 pm EST.

Let me say this again: Based on all of the talent involved, the Sound and the Fury has a good claim on being the worst film ever made
And in what world would Steel Magnolias and the Night of the Living Dead remake not sell more than 3,000 copies?

Or Enemy Mine, the sci-fi remake of Hell In The Pacific!

Never knew it was a remake of the Boorman flick. I want to see it now! Terry Gilliam was offered this I believe, but turned it down.

Those are real odd choices. Who would have thought that would make first Ritt Blu?

Steel Magnolias!? I don't know many elderly women who would order a Blu-ray exclusively off of a niche website, so that one makes NO sense (in my opinion) to TT. And though I can maybe understand Sony (who is hurting) wanting the upfront cash, I'm pretty sure they could turn over a nice profit over time releasing to discount bins in Wal-Mart across North America.

Twilight Time releases (films AND prices) are really disappointing, why can't they be as awesome as Olive?

Wow. This group interests me even less than their last batch of announcements. Didn't think it was possible.

As puzzling as those releases are, I am really looking forward to pretending that I can afford to buy Tom Savini's remake of Living Dead. I recommend it, if only to see a new Barbara get up, put on a wife beater, and kick some ass. Can't wait to live vicariously through reviews, frame grabs, and whoever on this forum decides to buy it.

As Good as it Gets @ Blu-ray.com.
Those screenshots look horrible. So much for Sony licensing only good looking transfers.

That's a weird review and I say that as someone who likes the film.

Sweet merciful Jesus, Enemy Mine? If this is the caliber of cinema they're after now I guess it's only a matter of time before we get the Twilight Time blu-ray double feature of Hal Needham's MegaForce and RAD.

Either Enemy Mine or NoTLD will no doubt be the next title to sell out, though-- never underestimate the horror/sci-fi contingent

But it's
Enemy Mine. I mean...my God. It's Battlefield Earth-bad.

It's one of my mom's favorite films. I may consider picking up a copy for her (I'd prefer the Boorman).
