The latest Rollin releases are The Iron Rose and Girls Without Shame (aka Schoolgirl Hitchhikers), and I've added cover artwork and specs to the first post in this thread as per usual.

happy to pick up both of these, particularly The Iron Rose as recommended to me up thread
I haven't quite gotten to any other Rollin titles just yet. I was without my 4K capable TV for a little while, but it's back now. will pick up again soon. the inside art for Night of the Hunted was rather traumatizing, though ...

I assume you’re referring to the scissors, and not Brigitte Lahaie.

yes, the scissors. that really didn't do well for me at all, now a bit terrified over watching the movie

You don't see any more than what's in the still, if that helps.

Newsletter clue is Zombie Lake, confirming Indicator's Rollin project will extend beyond the titles available to licence via Park Circus/Screenbound.
The likely spines:
400 The Rape of the Vampire
401 The Nude Vampire
402 The Shiver of the Vampires
403 Requiem for a Vampire
404 The Iron Rose
405 Schoolgirl Hitchhikers
406 The Demoniacs
407 Lips of Blood
408 Countess X
409 The Grapes of Death
410 Fascination
411 The Night of the Hunted
412 The Escapees
413 Zombie Lake
414 The Living Dead Girl
415 The Sidewalks of Bangkok
416 Killing Car
417 The Two Orphan Vampires
418 Dracula's Fiancee
Lost in New York will presumably not receive a spine number, and instead be featured as a supplement?

I really hope they restore Dracula's Fiancee, it currently looks awful and it's one of his best

It would also be nice to include Night of the Clocks and The Face of Medusa since they were
his final feature films. Maybe pair them together. I never considered Zombie Lake to be a bona fide
Rollin film since he was brought in at the last minute to the production (and personally, I found the film
insufferable to sit through).

Hard to imagine each of these titles getting an individual deluxe release (
though an Indicator limited-edition Schoolgirl Hitchhikers with 80-page perfect-bound book and poster would be something to see).
No poster, but otherwise...
(It's a fine book, too.)

I'm rather partial to ZOMBIE LAKE, which feels more like a Franco film (who quit before production) than a Rollin...whilst's Franco's OASIS OF THE ZOMBIES feels much closer to Rollin!
I wonder if this marks the beginning of Indicator working with Eurocine, who owns several Franco classics, or at least the French versions!

I’ve already placed my order. Bring on Comtesse X!

Saga De Xam, a 1967 graphic novel by Rollin and Nicolas Devil.

Girls Without Shame (aka
Schoolgirl Hitchhikers):
The Indicator release from 2025, with UHD and Blu-ray options issued separately as usual in the U.S. and U.K., features a new 4K restoration that improves so radically in every possible way that this truly feels like a whole different film. The colors here are rich and vibrant especially with HDR10-compatible Dolby Vision on the UHD making it a really blazing viewing where even the various wallpaper choices are a tantalizing treat for the eyes. There's far more image info visible here as well, giving it a more balanced and spacious appearance, and finally no damage is sight anywhere. It's a truly miraculous stunner.

Beavers Without Shame.
No, that doesn't work.
Girls Without Beavers? That's even worse, and comprehensively contradicted by abundant onscreen evidence.
Anyway, you get the general idea.

(NB: The short
The Yellow Loves is also 4K UHD on the relevant disc, not merely HD.)

Just a word to say SEXANA, an extra on the GIRLS WITHOUT SHAME disc, is worth the price of admission. It’s an eerie, perverse 8mm film reminiscent of Kenneth Anger and full of ladies in fetish gear and crash helmets. It fits very well into Rollin’s aesthetic, and the new score by Peninsula is worthy of Acanthus or Pierre Raph.

Saw Night of the Hunted tonight and a) had no idea who Rollin is/what his deal was/that it was wall-to-wall porn actors and b) am absolutely hypnotized by how great it was. Affecting, strange, dark, sad, scary. Like a more serious and adult version of giallo (no disrespect meant to anyone by putting it that way).
Anyway - what next? Considering I'm still sitting here just wanting to see more stuff that Rollin has pointed a camera at but avoid anything too silly, what are his other must-see films?

If you’re vampire-averse, try The Iron Rose. Rollin’s most crossover vampire films are probably Fascination and Lips of Blood.

Very much seconded. Although I'm also very fond of The Nude Vampire, whose vampiric elements play second fiddle to the sci-fi/apocalyptic ones. In fact, it's tonally quite similar to The Night of the Hunted.

Thirded. That’s the film that sold me on him. The Rape of the Vampire and The Demonics are also pretty good follow ups. You should probably put off the zombie films for now.

Fascination is still my fave and what got me hooked on him, with Night of the Hunted as second favorite. Somehow The Iron Rose is the only one I've found almost too silly even for me (and yet I really want to see it again in 4K).

Fascination is the one where Rollin's style and themes really came together for me. Hearty recommendation. And while I wasn't as taken with it as many others on here, The Iron Rose is another good choice given your comments, mfunk.
