Over on our Facebook page, I've been collecting and organizing the past wacky drawings from old newsletters, going back to 2005. The wayback machine has been helpful, and I've been googling those that I can't find. For some reason, the 2006 newsletters are giving me more problems than the others, and I can only find three images.

Do any of you have these saved, or know where online I might find them?

For 2006 I need January, February, April, June, July, August, September, October, and November.

I see that one of the months was the "wacky c" which might have been them teasing the new logo (the rebranded site launched that year in May I think).

Thanks for the offer. Unfortunately since all of those old links no longer work, if you didn't save the images to your hard drive, or upload them to the web somewhere, the emails don't really help. Even the wayback machine apparently wasn't able to archive those 2006 images. It's weird, since I can get the 2005 ones no problem.

Anyway, if any of you happen to have them saved, or know where they may be found online, I'd greatly appreciate the help in my scavenger hunt.

Unfortunately July 2006 has one of the other newsletter pages on the reverse, so someone may still have to provide a cleaner version of that one. I have only scanned the wacky clue page, though I can do the rest if you want more:

January 2006 (Remember that time when we were still complaining that there were only two Ozu films released by Criterion, and one of those was the problematic Good Morning! Then Criterion said more were coming but forgot to release any at all during 2005?)

February 2006. I'm afraid the bottom of the frog must have gotten cut off by the bottom of the page.

I was trying to fit Lost Weekend in there some how but yeah, those two make more sense.

No. I refuse to believe that this is an actual double clue.

Would be hilarious if they really did release these two ahead of the long overdue Rashomon or Throne of Blood.

That mutt resembles Michel Simon - at least, I think it does. Perhaps a BR upgrade of Boudu is imminent.

I too thought of Michel Simon, and of a Boudu upgrade.

Notice also how Criterion promotes the 1925 cut of 'The Gold Rush' in their newsletter.. a new restoration without voice-over or scenes removed..

I don't see Drunken Angel in there--- it appears to be a bottle of poison. Plus, there's no "angel" in that picture.
