Nowhere. More of a wish than a guess. That restoration from a few years back is on Blu-Ray in Germany, so I'm hoping for Criterion to get it out to us here.

Well, Domino, I wasn’t going to make any guesses this month because I’m stymied, but since you've invoked my name, here are some observations I'll make from glancing at others' guesses. There’s not going to be a Hail the Conquering Hero or Company, probably for a year. Criterion has a distinct pattern of twinning releases that’s been going on for a while now—e.g., Bruno Dumont, Bette Davis, Sidney Lumet. Criterion wouldn’t be releasing an upgraded The Lady Eve if there were going to be another Sturges release this year, let alone two months away, and they would have released Company in the same month as Pennebaker's Town Bloody Hall if it were coming soon. The likelihood of Parasite and Memories of Murder together makes a lot of sense, though. Also, since the thread for the New Year’s clue is closed, I’m going throw out something that's been nagging at me: What if that clue had a secondary meaning? Not just that Criterion would be doing those particular box sets, but something like “2020 will be a year of box sets”? The Zeman box and the upgrade of the Rohmer films would fit that messaging as well. If so, we might see a third World Cinema box, and it might include either or both Pixote and Amores Perros. (I’d like an upgrade of Rebel Samurai myself, but my gut says it's unlikely.)
