I thought the same thing, but it's actually a dude from terrencemallick.com that posted it (see link). That gives it a tad more credibility, in my eyes

No, it's true! Badlands is coming out finally! An astral projection of Jon Mulvaney came into my dream last night that Badlands is on it's way and so is Bottle Rocket.

Maybe I should rephrase it:
It's slightly more official than it was before!

Never in my lifetime I've seen this thread so slow on announcement day.

Well people are probably awaiting announcements.

A Hollis Frampton Odyssey...
Eclipse 32 Czech New Wave...

General buzz for April's titles has been low, compared to other months. I mean, not even Criterion Cast has much (if anything?) to say about it...

And with a new interview with Cat Stevens, which is all kinds of cool.

Also, The Organizer, which acts as the $30 title.

Frampton, Eclipse, and Alambrista are all automatic gets for me. Anybody ever seen The Organizer?

Anyone seen The Organizer? The only April title that remotely interests me.

Should have Tokyo-Ga in HD as well, which is worthy of a purchase all by itself.

Not interested in any of the April releases. More money to buy MoC releases.

Most likely just upscaled to 1080i.

No upgrades... has this happened since they started upgrading titles?

Wouldn't it be hilarious if that is why Wenders was in the office and the road movies were a red herring?

1080i is still HD. Better than 480p still, in any case.

As is seemingly more often the case: many of the less well known works get the least - virtually no - extras and contextualisation. Essentially Essential Art House with a wacky C. Will definitely be snapping up I compagni on Blu. I had no idea that was its English title though.

I second that motion...or is it notion? Well, I second both, just in case.

One of the best months ever. If I didn't already own Daisies and Party and the Guests, the Eclipse set probably would have killed me twice instead of just once.
