One year's time, it'll have it's huge premiere on BET and/or Lifetime. Regardless of quality, I can't see it having a strong base outside of art houses. But I'm assuming that's the target audience anyway.

Funny trailer. Ripping of the A Clockwork Orange trailer seems to be rather popular lately. And by popular, I of course mean two films, but still.

Gandolfini in particular looks very funny. This may be sacrilege to some but I've always preferred him in a good deal of his film roles to his work on The Sopranos. Especially his bit part in True Romance and in Night Falls On Manhattan.

In The Loop is laugh-out-loud funny when you're actually watching it, but I found it oddly ephemeral, largely because it has nothing particularly new or surprising to say about the venality of politicians and their supposed servants. But it certainly delivers on the belly laughs in the short term, so it's well worth watching on that score.

I have never heard a louder or more unanimous sigh of collective disappointment than what erupted from the Up audience when the release date came up in this teaser.

I remember when the first teaser for The Incredibles came out, and was disappointed that it was coming out 4 years from the time I saw it.

That...can't be right. Pixar has always (with the exception of Wall-E and Toy Story) teased its next release with each new film. In 2000, Pixar still had Monsters Inc. and Finding Nemo to release, and would have been just ramping up production on The Incredibles.
And the first The Incredibles trailer was released with Finding Nemo in 2003.

Did you see art from when Brad Bird wanted to make the project with Warner Bros. or something?

You're probably right now that I think about it. I thought it was on the original DVD of Toy Story, but that may have just been the teaser of Monsters.
