Unless you've seen the film, in which case the drone has been pounded into your head with a Glass hammer.
Duck Duck only watches movies "ironically"

I'm sorry I haven't seen all three of these films. If you watch films on cable they don't pronounce the name clearly.

I have to admit that the greaser lambs have got me beat.

Criterion Cast suggests "Bad Lambs" = Badlands?

The jacket and shirt combo is really familiar. I want to say either Rumble Fish or Van Sant.

Sounds right. Sheen certainly dressed like a greaser in there.

I think you mean CriterionCast not Criterion Corner.

Edited to strike my blunder from the record.

Their puns aren't even homophones anymore. That's pretty lamb-ass.

True. As far as puns go, this one is a piece of sheep.

That's it. Sheen wears a jean jacket and white t-shirt the whole film.

but that looks like a black leather jacket and there's two of them? Maybe if the other was wearing a ratty sundress i'd buy it. doesn't seem to fit to me.

Couldn't be Killer of Sheep, could it?

Well in order for the pun to achieve the appropriate pluralization, there'd need to be two bad-looking lambs. You're right though, if that's what it is, it's one of their sloppier clues.

Nope. Milestone wouldn't rent it out and they'd be wacky sheep in that case. I'm kind of hoping it is
Drugstore Cowboy instead. Something seems off about the
Badlands suggestion.

I thought "killer of sheep" and tried to post it earlier but the site was too crowded. Which gave me time to think but why would lambs kill sheep? a wolf would be a better clue.
Drugstore Cowboy has too obvious of a pun picture...

This probably isn't it, but what about Shanks (of lamb), which includes a gang of bikers at the end?

Even though they're no longer pursuing a release unfortunately I believe Olive still has the rights.

Unlikely but I think Rebel without a Cause also fits the clue. The film is essentially a greek tragedy with Plato being the film's sacrificial lamb. I posted a few months ago that some Ray biographer mentioned that Criterion has several Nic Ray films in the works.
It probably is Badlands. The pun is pretty lame. Paul Maher Jr. who runs the One Big Soul Malick fansite and recently published a book on Malick has been insisting that a Criterion release is in the works. It would make more sense it it were a male and female. The image looks like 2 dudes to me. Might just be a lousy drawing.
I was on google trying to somehow tie lambs to Richard Brooks' In Cold Blood. Not much luck.

Warner would never hand over Rebel Without a Cause (or any of the three James Dean films for that matter).

Even if it is a pretty lame pun, shouldn't we all be ecstatic that Badlands is finally coming?

Maybe they're Dahl fans.
