I assume this will be the full international version and not the truncated American one?

Yes, the 173 minute version

I really like Abbey Bender’s work — happy to see she’s branching out into booklet essays.

But will it be from the recent 4K restoration (which was released in Germany and in France this year)?

Now I'm imagining a projection of the film but with a new soundtrack featuring Adjani and Depardieu singing.

That musical seems like a highly unnecessary undertaking.

I'm sure plenty of people would have called a musical on Alexander Hamilton a highly unnecessary undertaking, but that's no excuse to do the same.

Interesting - Signature is listing this as a "world premiere" but it's obviously been done before. Signature's page lists the same writer and comper, but the wikipedia page has this interesting tidbit... "The musical has been consistently worked upon, with productions that were hoped for Europe and regional theatres across the United States. However, in 2007, author Nan Knighton has said that while there are certain opportunities still available, there were no immediate plans to bring Camille anywhere."

So . . I think I'll check out the Blu Ray of the film before I see the "new" version of the musical (I already have tickets...)
