So that would mean releasing the Hometown Trilogy and a film that's not a part of the trilogy in the same set? Probably likely but still seems a bit weird.

Unknown Pleasures arguably leads into The World with its emphasis on the new highway to Beijing, and as usual with these things the whole "trilogy" collation was invented by commentators after the fact and not something Jia ever had in mind while making them. (It's also too often forgotten that Unknown Pleasures doesn't take place in the same town but in the provincial capital hundreds of miles away.) It's too bad that Michael Berry—whose book on the Hometown Trilogy is great, regardless of any issues with the rubric—already claimed the title "From Fenyang to the World" for his visual essay in the Arrow box, since it would be perfect for a box of the first four films.

That makes sense, though I still think Criterion might release the Hometown Trilogy and The World separately because of the marketing obsession with trilogies.

Assayas' Non Fiction - This is still lacking any release in the U.S.! I realize not his greatest or most talked about, but as it pairs him with Binoche again still deserves to be seen.

People were guessing it here for a while. It's an IFC release and an Assayas film, I imagine Criterion will release it at some point.
