Well if they have a time machine than maybe they can squeeze all four hours into 55 minutes

Yeah, I'm waiting to see if one of Criterion's extras will be a crisp $100 bill.
Is that how much the DVD is going for now?

start at $50 used and $150 new on Amazon. I sold mine a couple of years ago on Ebay for $50 and it was used. had 25 bids or something crazy.

A new/sealed one did sell for $200 on ebay recently. Used you'll get $30-$60.

Wow. I hadn't even realized that it was OOP. I've meant to pick this up for years, but never got around to it, always opting for something that I hadn't seen before. I absolutely adore the movie, and might even find a place for it in an all-time top 20. Thankfully we'll now see what will undoubtedly be a deluxe edition.

if this is another two-disc Bluray Criterion is seriously, seriously stepping it up in 2013.

looks a lot like a reference to Public Image Ltd.'s "album".
Obscure "Sid & Nancy" clue?

Nope, it's Repo Man:

Whew. It's been a very long time since I got one right.

Close with the Alex Cox... I'll take Repo Man.

Cox works in my building here in Boulder and we talked about Criterion's edition a couple weeks ago. He said it should have the same features as MoC (including the TV edit!), and he said it would have some extra stuff too. I imagine a new introduction or something.

This his third criterion title? Sid and Nancy, Walker, and Repo Man? Or do we count Fear and Loathing? He's been in cahoots with Criterion for a while and so has Universal- so it makes sense this is coming out.

I asked about a future re-release of Sid and Nancy and he didn't seem too optimistic because Fox owns it now. I don't know, Fox has played nice with Criterion before, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Dammit. One of the few I get immediately, and I'm beaten to the punch.

This will be nice for region-locked folks.

Yes, as someone here indicated last week, the Criterion should replicate all the MoC features and then some.

Repo Man? It looks more like Conner's "A Movie" to me.

Saddened that my initial thought of that picture representing a certain Thin Blue Line is incorrect, though.

Bruce Conner films are never, ever coming to commercial DVD or Blu-ray.

It's funny that after that screenshot was posted, people are still guessing.

It would be amazing if they eventually packaged the DVD/Blu-ray in a generic box like that.

Odds that Stagecoach gets mentioned in the "Related Movies" section on the website?

so is it too much to ask for a month of Repo Man with an upgrade of Walker, which would also feature Pontecorvo/Brando's Burn! (which, if you don't know, is about Walker)? that would be absolutely fantastic but I know I can dream.

An upgrade of Walker is unlikely, but the second half of your wish isn't
