I've finally gotten to this in my 'to watch' pile and would also note that Nucleus Films also produced the Video Nasties: The Definitive Guide set to which Kim Newman contributed, and this looks like it might have been filmed at around the same time those interviews were being done.

The programme itself was very enlightening and really works to raise extra interest in seeing all of the films being discussed. I also totally agree with Mr Newman about the value of many of the films, even if just as a document of period details which are surrounding the action of the film! Or of the value of not just seeing the celebrated films - whether that is seeing the non-horror films made by Pete Walker or to paraphrase Newman: "art films which were not a success with the critics, which sent them into a strange underworld" like Herostratus.
