They are also releasing The Man on the Roof, The Working Class Goes to Heaven, and Welcome to the Dollhouse.

Red Sun is a great film. 👍

Wow! Some films I never thought would get a blu-ray release. No helping anyone who is disappointed in this opening slate.

Help me understand, do these come with Blu-ray case sized obi strips?

From their official FAQ:
“Is that big coloured strip printed on the front of the box?
- Each Limited Edition release comes with an ‘OBI strip’, a piece of paper that wraps around the spine and contains all necessary certificate, barcode, and legal and marketing information allowing the cover to be unspoiled both front and back. They are designed to be discarded but you may choose to keep them inside the case.”

Oh hey look. The Man on the Roof, who could have possibly seen that coming?

To be less smug; terrific selection of extras for it, Mårten Blomkvist is the person to include for it, the 2004 docu is pretty darn solid, and any interview with Bo is always a fun time. Even if nothing can top the interview for Kvarteret Korpen (Raven's End) where he brings along his daughter.

The rest of the slate looks great too, all the best to Fran and this endeavour!

It's a remarkable first slate! Particularly keen on getting Welcome to the Dollhouse, which I've had several substandard editions of over the years, but it all looks great. A lot I haven't seen here and need to catch up with, like the Petri film.

All of the films are listed as Region B, but five of the titles say they'll be available in the US through MVD, Diabolik, and Grindhouse.

(those being Sunday Woman, Red Sun, A Woman Kills, Fill 'Er Up, and Gambling Boss)

From blu-ray.com, in the not-so-distant future: "My obi strip got messed up in the mail, do you think they send replacements?" "My copy didn't come with an obi from <insert retailer here>!! I feel cheated" Several others, but you get the idea. In all seriousness, slate looks very interesting.

Likely just a misprint. I'm sure those 5 are region free.

Very exciting slate, most excited by the Japanese title, Big Time Gambling Boss! I'm likely also in for Miami Blues and Welcome to the Dollhouse and very intrigued by Man on The Roof, A Woman Kills and The Working Class Goes To Heaven. I tried buying the January bundle on their website and it wouldn't ship to my US address either but hopefully rarewaves will stock them.

Nice website. If you hover over the covers you can see them with the obi strips on and off. Also, for the price of 100 titles (compared to a forecast of maybe 125 titles released) there's this (limited to 50):
THIS IS A SPECIAL PRE-ORDER PACKAGE TO INCLUDE ALL LIMITED EDITION RADIANCE RELEASES FOR THE NEXT THREE YEARS. PURCHASE OF THIS PRODUCT AT THIS ONE-TIME ONLY SPECIAL PRICE WILL ENSURE EACH LIMITED EDITION NEW RELEASE IS AUTOMATICALLY SENT TO YOU.

IN ADDITION TO EACH NEW RELEASE, PURCHASERS OF THIS PACKAGE WILL GET EXCLUSIVE BENEFITS INCLUDING A RADIANCE TOTE BAG, AND OTHER SELECT ITEMS AS CURATED FOR GOLD PACKAGE BUYERS.

BUYERS WILL ALSO HAVE EXCLUSIVE MEMBERSHIP OF A PRIVATE DISCORD GROUP WHERE EACH BUYER WILL HAVE DIRECT ACCESS TO DISCUSS FUTURE RELEASES, SUGGEST AND DISCUSS TITLE SELECTIONS, PREVIEWS OF EXTRAS-IN-CREATION, PARTICIPATE IN POLLS AND MORE IN DIRECT DISCUSSION WITH RADIANCE FILMS.

THE FIRST PRODUCTS EXPECT TO SHIP IN EARLY 2023.
This is for UK residents. Evidently there will also be a North American equivalent available at mvdshop.com but I don't see it there yet

I'm assuming the US bundle will just have the US titles so perhaps it will be cheaper.

Should people in America hold off on any pre-orders?

I'd like to support the label as directly as possible, but if their policy is "by all means order from a 3rd party website" that would also be helpful to know.

I wonder if the US stores will be allowed to ship any titles (like Miami Blues and Welcome to the Dollhouse) that have a different distributor in the US. It'd be a shame to miss out on the UK editions.

Very impressive slate! Hopefully this means more Solondz is on the table, especially those of his films without a blu-ray release already

Apparently some UK folks are getting the same "cannot be shipped to your address" error, too.

Places like Diabolik or Orbit will have those.

They fixed international shipping. Just refreshed.

EDIT: And they're offering different shipping options. Thank you, Fran!

I really hope Fran is able to include some of those short films he put out a blanket request for.

I just ordered and I’m currently living in Japan - order went through without a problem and they even deducted the VAT charges, so it’s definitely working.
