The historian, Nick Redman does a commentary, which makes up for the bad cover art.

I feel so fine with the UK Blu, which too carried over the original commentary from the Fox DVD and doesn't have Redman anywhere on it. Realistically, are those two going to contribute that two experts in noir left out?

All of Twilight Time's Woody Allen releases have used original poster art. I'm guessing Woody might have approval rights, so it's just easier to use something already approved than go back-and-forth with Woody's people.
