Arrow are doing Singapore Sling for the UK (was submitted to the BBFC today). Great news as I was close to importing the VS disc.
So in short, we have the following to look forward to soon:
A Fistful of Dollars (1964) - could/should very well be the whole Dollars Trilogy
Singapore Sling (1990)
The Gift (2000)
The Cell (2000)
Rampo Noir (2005)
And if postcards from years ago are still valid, then apparently we'll also get The Frighteners (1996), and even Inglourious Basterds (2009), though the latter could be cancelled (then again, we did finally get The Mexico Trilogy and The Day of the Beast recently).
PS: Supposedly Invaders from Mars (1953) was coming out in the UK from them but still nothing on that front, and they had (have?) the rights to The Last of the Mohicans (1992) but no show on that one either. I wonder if plans for either got scuppered for legal/bureaucratic reasons...

as noted above, I would definitely take a bet on other MGM licenses being upgraded to 4K, especially if Kino already released them. so The Apartment, The Killing/Killer's Kiss and Night of the Hunter potentially. Arrow have kinda been on a roll with these and have done a great job with them. the best thing is how they have licensed Kino's extras, among others

that one could use a substantial upgrade in the supplemental department too. Criterion and Arrow's old editions were very production focused, and this is a movie that could really use a scholarly angle. I trust the Arrow of 2024 (with a larger budget of course) could bring that in. I was actually stunned Kino didn't add a commentary or anything of their own

I would just be grateful for the audio to not be fucked up.

This is exactly what I've been holding out for. Frustrating as hell when the UHD is a big visual upgrade IMHO.

On the other forum it looks like someone found an insert for the William Shatner film Incubus.

There's a report of someone getting a postcard for Don't Torture A Duckling with their Trick 'r Treat release. Wouldn't be surprised to see a 4K upgrade get announced.

Someone at BR commented the following: “Not necessarily. Most cards are actually for existing titles. They used to tease upcoming stuff via the cards but stopped including cards altogether in recent years and now appear to be back in full swing (thanks to Cliff?). If a 4K is forthcoming, that would be awesome. Wonder what source they'll use for the scan, though.”

I don't think they are making cards for titles that were released 7+ years ago (though there is always a chance that they are doing it and I've never seen one in-person). In fact, the titles that I've gotten from Arrow within the past couple years contain cards for titles that were released roughly around the same time. For example, my copy of Ringu had a post card for Weird Science (which was released on 4K just a month prior to Ringu), and my copy of The Long Good Friday has a post card for one of the Coffin Joe films (which was released 4 months prior to the former).

More than likely Major League, the last of their Morgan Creek titles

There are some indications earlier this year that
Eight Men Out is with Vinegar Syndrome's Cinématographe line.
I don't know how much of a market there is for a UK only release of a baseball movie.

If true, I'd assume it'd be UK only like most of their other Morgan Creek titles.
