Seau was a linebacker. He never threw the ball. (The weak attempt at football humor is because I hate the euphemism. He died.)

Here's a summary of all eight deaths from the 94 Chargers. You're right, not a passer in the bunch. (Unless you count snapping the ball as passing).

Awful. Had no idea he was in that bad of shape. I had thought the cancer was treatable and under control. A terrible loss to both the film and music worlds.

Yeah, the last reports I heard (probably a while ago actually, now that i think about it) really gave the impression that he doing about as well as could be expected.

Really, really sad.
