I'm betting that Criterion includes both the Academy and SuperScope versions, leaving the cover art as the only thing to complain about.

distribution agreement with Criterion, but it does not own Criterion.

Not to be a curmudgeon, but am I the only one who misses the newsletters from a few months ago--the ones that provided a bit of interesting trivia about each film, rather than just a blurb?

I'm with you there. It gave a good taster of some of the anecdotes to be found in the extra features!
