She is also brilliant in two of my guilty pleasures: CLUE and MURDER BY DEATH.

I love all of her performances, but for some reason her guest appearance on Taxi stands out for me, as she seduced Louie De Palma.

I too was surprised to find out that she was 80 at the time of her death. I'll probably always remember her best for her performance in Clue given the dozen or so times that I saw it as a kid. It should be noted for those of us taking part in the 70s list that you can't go go wrong tracking her output from the decade (The Last Picture Show, Scarecrow, The Sting, etc.), though I'd recommend skipping the stinker Murder by Death.

So sad for this. His portrayal of Mr. Freeze on Batman the Animated Series made that character truly relevant for the first time in decades.

That's a real shame. Last I heard she was trying to raise money for her cancer treatment...

Very sad news. She was someone who was always enjoyable to watch on screen.

Yes, I remember that story too. It's obscene that we live in a country where you have to crowd source your cancer treatment. By perverse coincidence, I listened to about a minute of Glenn Beck's radio show while I was driving this afternoon and heard him say that we had universal healthcare in this country (as part of a rant about refusing to fund the Affordable Care Act). If only that were true...
