Perhaps I should just plan on muting the TV during the memoriam instead of listening to Celine Dion murder "Smile."

Oh come on, I think people have come to vastly overrate both Exit Through the Gift Shop and its supposed importance.

This awards shows are usually bad, but this year takes the cake. Between the horrible hosting job, the stupid, forced banter, the ADD camera shots and the awful auto-tune montage, this one has been unwatchable. The producers should learn that they need to bring actual comedians to make the awards entertaining.

What importance? I personally prefer Restrepo. I'm just saying they didn't want to risk anything interesting.

Only IF they could of forced Godard to the Oscars and gave him the award tonight instead of last fall......

It was a Superbowl commercial if that helps any.
And I said the same thing AOX wrote when I first saw it there.

I was saddened when Bob Hope died this year, and all of your disrespect aside, I think it is nice that the Academy is honoring him.

I don't think that's very shocking. It's far easier to give an award to a documentary with an easy political topic that will make voters feel good about themselves than a documentary about a graffiti artist.

Graffiti is about as controversial as marijuana at this point. It's not the 50s anymore guys. Time to stop acting like 'the man' is keeping graffiti down.
