I actually looked at the eligible films before ranking my list this time around, and still missed this one. Would've been on the brink of my top ten

Also, I could've sworn several members recently championed Betty Tells Her Story as one of the best short films ever, which caused me to seek it out. Surprised to see that orphaned. I suspect Kino is gonna release their Yvonne Rainer set a little too late to reach a lot of participants here, but hope people get on the train soon, as some of her strongest films are coming up

Not sure where to put this but my girlfriend and I occasionally hate-watch the 24/7 Baywatch TV channel on Samsung devices and I was confronted with a surreal episode last night that fully lifts the plot of the Heartbreak Kid (egg salad and all) and transports it into the world of Baywatch for some reason (with Pamela Anderson as Cybill Shepherd in the world’s cruelest downgrade). I missed the writing credits but I assume someone cut Neil Simon a check because it moved far beyond the realm of “homage”
