Definitely getting this one too. There's something about Edna May Oliver's performance that will be even better in HD. She's probably my favorite of all the Ford women I've seen.
One of the epic fights of cinema is Edna May Oliver versus Blanche Yurka in
A Tale of Two Cities. I love that woman.

Drums is one of the great Ford films of its time, but I'll hold off and see what import options come along. Anyone seen the Danish blu-ray?
I guess the most depressing thing about this announcement is that it probably means we won't see any kind of big Ford at Fox set(s) the way they upgraded Kazan.

No, but according to the specs it is 1080i50...

At Long Last Love is back in stock on June 9th (Sunday?) -- I am probably literally the first person to pre-order this so it pains me to hear some people who aren't me have apparently received shipping notices already

The one thing he doesn't discuss is whether that Fox editorial guy whose unauthorized and illegal fan cut saved the film will be officially recognized in the credits.

Got a shipping notice for At Long Last Love, so I guess it does actually exist!

That cover art for Sleepless in Seattle is the worst one TT has produced so far, imo!!!

As suggested, the "R" was a typo and
At Long Last Love is still rated "G." The added extra scene is a reprise of "Alpha and Omega" with Madeline Kahn and Duilio Del Prete sandwiched between "De-Lovely" and its reprise.
This number from the Russian TV version didn't make the cut, though-- it should go immediately after Shepherd and Stritch leave the racetrack. But I don't believe it was in the Netflix version either, so Bogdanovich may very well have just forgotten about it. The movie looks as good as it ever has on Blu-ray-- unsurprising, given how badly battered the different boots of this have been! Also, no mention of "Twilight Time" anywhere on the packaging and full English subs (Can't remember if any other TT titles feature this)
It's unbelievable that on the same trip to the UPS store I brought back
Out 1 on DVD and
At Long Last Love on Blu-ray. For all the horrible advancements DVD-Rs and streaming have wrought, there are still victories!

They've said
from the beginning that this was not technically a Twilight Time release, they were just helping to produce it.

For those who wanted just the Empire State Building in the artwork...

Going by both sides of the TT artwork, you'd think
Sleepless in Seattle is all about New York.

I would have preferred an anachronistic cover image of Hanks and Ryan passionately kissing in front of the EMP Museum. That at least would have been funny.

The Big Heat is sold out. I assume the TT staff gave each other celebratory handjobs upon learning the news.
In other terrible new,
it looks like TT has licensed some MGM titles

Yey,
The Big Heat is OOP. Now there's no alternative but to grab that pristine BD-25 from online. What a shame
Can someone shed some light on Sony's "no extras" policy? Other than to be spiteful, why would it exist?

You know, I don't think advertising that you're going to steal something gives you the moral high ground you appear to believe that it does

There's also several DVD editions or am I missing something from your joke?

I already have it on DVD, but it's not like I'm going to be a moralist and watch that, when there's a much better HD download available - legal or not. That's truly the best reason TT exist: to get better material floating about online.
I know Wild Side had an advert announcing a French Blu-ray digibook, but that must have been a year ago now and no further news. I'll snap that up no problem.

I have major issues with Twilight Time but I love Leave Her to Heaven, so I've taken the bait and ordered the BD.
