It's an ice cream scoop. Or maybe it's for serving gelato. Something something

I'm thrilled that they're finally releasing it, partially because I love the movie but mostly because Facebook commenters will have to find a new one to wail about on announcement days

Did Lynch approve this clue.... Needless to say, I am pumped.

Amazing news. I wonder if they did a fresh scan?
Hopefully there is a cooking segment in the supplements.

The StudioCanal Blu-Ray of Mulholland Drive has some weird interlacing artefacts in a few spots. So I really do hope Criterion does a fresh scan.

It'll surely be a new scan. The SC Blu-ray is the old DVD master and still features the SD blurring around Laura Harring's crotch (hopefully Lynch won't insist on this being replaced with a HD rendering, instead just foregoing it altogether).

Why do they keep giving us clues for Midnight Cowboy month after month? You'd think they'd release it by now.

I think you mean "Il Sorpasso".

Nope. Definitely Midnight Cowboy. They've been teasing us for sixteen months now with that clue.
They actually formally announced Il Sorpasso three months after they released a clue for it, and then released it three months later. So, that can't be it. It's got to be Midnight Cowboy. Maybe we need to clap harder...

What's it called when someone takes a perfectly good joke, murders it, and then spreads its remains all over the street just to bum out passersby?

I didn't get the newsletter until this morning, for some reason. At least it didn't sorpass me altogether.
