Naughty Girl (Mam'zelle Pigalle)(1956)
Sadly, all three of these are dogs, even if you are a BB fanatic. I hope the next round of French shadow drops are better after these and the Lecontes
At least two of these BB titles will feature Adrian Martin commentaries (and possibly all will, just going off the shared specs so far). I can’t imagine how he will fill the time here, though I love that he’s now part of KLSC’s regular contributor crew

One of the most interesting things they've put out in a while and of course it's Blu only.

Is this Kino's first release from the Paramount-controlled Miramax catalog?

They’re not pairing Smoke with Blue in the Face? That seems like a lost opportunity.

Update: I see they are releasing it separately, which still seems a baffling decision.

They announced Mimic UHD last year, I think, but have yet to release it.

They're likely waiting for Guillermo del Toro's availability, similar to Sofia Coppola for Lost in Translation.

I remember this being quite entertaining and easily better than some of the other films he did around the time (Jade etc).

Ah wonderful! I've wanted to see it for a while. Dave Kehr speaks highly of it. For those on this forum who have recently been bit by the Alan Rudolph bug, John Binder was one of his collaborators on the aforementioned Endangered Species and Trixie (I believe he too was an Altman protégé).

It’s really fucking hilarious! Slipped under the radar for far, far too long. It never got the chance to develop a cult following like Repo Man or Rumble Fish, both of which got re-releases from Universal that boosted their profiles

If they're going to scratch the bottom of the barrel for 4K Blu-ray releases, I'd rather it be something interesting like this.

Wow, he actually makes it sound kind of interesting. But remember, he also gave Beasts of the Southern Wild 4 stars. Based on the precis in dwk's original post, UFOria sounds like the ultimate movie made out of leftover, incongruous parts. I think I may give it a try one of these days...
