Presumably they'll do with a lot of them what they've already done with Zodiac and others, and re-issue them with zero changes.

Someone asked about
Seconds a while back and they said something to the effect of they weren't interested. Since there seems to be a fair amount of lag-time with Paramount-licensed releases, this could still hold true.
Seconds has been OOP for several years, which may explain it wasn't part of the Warner 600. Would love to be proved wrong.

I'm struggling to think of
any Casper commentary that isn't fairly awful
Famously, MoC decided not to license his commentary for
Lifeboat, even though it was presumably available to them.

I actually remember the opposite. Someone had asked on Criterion's Facebook wall about
Seconds when they were still replying to inquires and whomever was doing the responses had shared that they did not have the rights to the film but they had recently discovered it for the first time at a revival screening at Telluride and loved it. (This was a few years ago obviously)

I know Seconds has been under-served on home video, but is it really that obscure? I remember first catching it on Cinemax back in the late 90s.

I'd say we'd be lucky if 100 of them make it on new-to-Blu releases. The others will be re-issues of previously released Paramount Blu-rays and DVDs. The remainder may be Warner Archive bound.
But they won't sub-license.
Look at the ~70 titles Warner licensed from the Samuel Goldwyn library - DVD re-issues, some new releases to Warner Archive, and a handful of Blu-ray upgrades.

They didn't license the 600 titles to do Blu on all of them, they will do DVDs on all of them and Blu on some.

I'll hazard a guess:
Rossellini/Bergman trilogy
Seance on a Wet Afternoon
I Married A Witch
Picnic Blu upgrade

It's too soon for I Married a Witch. I wouldn't expect that until August at the earliest though October seems most likely.

These will be the August title but you're probably right. They'll wait on a Halloween release for that.

The Rossellini/Bergman set appears more likely with them pimping one of the Janus theatrical restorations on the CC front page lately.

Those 'guesses' are more often than not 'wishes'...
Picnic Blu upgrade would be very nice indeed, a Peter Weir early box would be stupendous.
