This looks like a step in the right direction for Neeson, doing something that is trading in on his recent success as an action star but is also potentially a well-written character piece.

It definitely seems like a cruder film, closer to the gross-out and physical humor of the last few Farrelly films than the relatively low-key feel of the first film. The only thing the film doesn't really give a sense of is how the world around the two reacts to them, although the fisting scene isn't a good sign.

Surprising thing is, it's made by a 14 year old girl. Honestly, I want to see it. I mean I'm a fan of slasher films, so this seems right up my alley.
